Our Program: Our Mustang Players ages 5 through 12 compete in the Big South Youth Football League. Your player's age as of August 1st will determine his or her age group. The Tiny Mite division are our 5 and 6 year olds (unlimited weight for linemen; skill position weight of 65 pounds). The Mighty Mite division are our 7 and 8 year olds (unlimited weight for linemen; skill position weight of 95 pounds). The Junior Varsity division are our 9 and 10 year olds (unlimited weight for linemen; skill position weight of 125 pounds). The Varsity division are our 11 and 12 year olds (unlimited weight ).
Join the Program: REGISTRATIONS USUALLY OPEN around mid April- beginning of May and closes in June.
Athletes must be registered, paid, and fitted prior to June 25TH to ensure uniform delivery prior to the first game.
Our Program's League: Our Mustang Players compete in the Big South Youth Football League (BSYF). This is a competitive tackle youth football league. Our home games are played at David Clark Stadium, which lets the players compete for their dreams in the home of 2012,2014 &2022 State Champion East Lincoln High School Mustangs. The BSYF has teams across the surrounding counties that will host at their local venues as well on a rotating schedule. Games are played on Saturdays from late August through mid November depending upon weather and your team's success in the playoffs. Practices are determined by your coach.

Equipment Hand Out: Players will receive the following Items: Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Practice Jersey
First Day of Official Practice: July 24th (Monday) @ 6 pm @ East Lincoln Auxiliary Field (Across from community center).
**Helmets only day 1 and 2, followed by shoulder pads and helmet practice day 3, 4, and 5. Full gear introducing light “thud” contact August 1st. ***
Big South Player Certification: 8/19 TBD. ALL players MUST attend certification to be eligible for regular and post season participation. Please note you will need to show proof of address whether that is some form of utility bill, proof of School, and original raised seal birth certificate. ***THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP IN THE PRE-SEASON PROCESS. ALL PLAYERS REGISTERED MUST ATTEND!!!***
BSYFL Jamboree: 8/26 Scrimmage games- TBD
Regular Season Kick Off Weekend: 9/2 Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
Additional Notes:
Practice Schedule: All teams usually practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday starting at 6 pm and ending roughly around 7:30 pm. It is at the head coach’s discretion for each team to modify their practice schedule.
Game Schedule: ALL Games are scheduled on Saturdays. If there is any type of cancellation due to weather, games are usually made up on Sunday. East Lincoln will host 2 weekends out of the regular season with all other games being at other organization’s host sites and high schools. The game schedule DOES NOT come out until about 2 weeks before the regular season kicks off.

There are No Guarantees of a Team for Late or waitlisted Registrations OR once teams have reach the max players allowed.
Fees not paid at time of registrations will be placed automatically on the waitlist
